Alt Penedès is an hour south of Barcelona city. It has been our home for more than 15 years, during which we have met every wine maker and written over 50 press reports on the wineries, wines and local culture. We like small, friendly wineries with lots of variety, so there will be sparkling wine producers and red wine specialists with Catalan culture, countryside and gastronomy in between.
