El D.O.Penedès producia los primeros vinos espumantes y de agulla, plantaban los primeros Cabernets Sauvignons, Pinot Noirs, Merlots y Chardonnays, y los primeros vinos organicos y biodinamicos. Hay muchas microclimas y teruños entre la Mediterranio y los montañas, Los Vinyedos estan divididos en campos pequeños y cada uno tiene su proprio personalidad y historia. Nosotros conecemos los enologos que estan produciendo vinos de autor y constantmente mejorando la reputacion de este jardin hermosa a poco distancia de Barcelona y Sitges.
Nosotros llevamos 12 años descubriendo Penedès y los otros tierras de vinos ded Cataluña. No conocemos otro parte del mundo donde trabajan y disfrutan de la vida tanto, hay cientos de fiesta mayors, concursos entre Castellers, firas y festivals, gastronomics, vinicolas, y culturales a largo de todo el año. Muy probablemente cuando no
other wine regions of Southern Catalunya are bursting with Iberian, Roman, Moorish, Romanesque, Gothic, Modernist and contempory culture. Summer and Winter the region purrs with fiesta majors, wine and food events, theatre, cinema and art festivals, medieval fairs, parades, pagents and local events. We keep a close eye on the cultural calendar so you get in touch with and taste the real Southern Catalunya.
Alt Penedès is in Barcelona province, an hour to the south of the city. It has been our home for more than 12 years. We like small and friendly with lots of variety, so there will be sparkling wine producers and red wine specialists with Catalan culture, countryside and gastronomy in between.
