El Molí Wine Workshops
Big whites, rouge rosés, daring cavas and decadent reds, …rarely, will you find a country as rich in wine-making tradition and diversity of styles as Catalunya. Our wine-tastings demonstrate the variety and quality of wines from Penedes to Priorat and from the Terra Alta to Costers de Segre.
Paddy Mannion, sommelier and wine scribe, has been discovering and presenting the wines and bodegas of Catalunya for 20 years. Our encounters with the fruit of Baccus deal with tasting technique, methods of production, grape varieties and the stories behind the wine-makers and great brews that are bursting out of historic Southern Catalunya wine country.

Spanish Shoot-out
Todays creative wine-makers come from any of 60 Spanish denominations of origin. We introduce wines with more concentration, more terroir, more fruit and more personality. Tasters at this shoot-out will decide who are the winners, illustrious old school or innovative blow-ins. Presentation and tasting of 10 excellent wines, an authentic OK Coral of Spanish wines.
