Enjoy the quiet backroads and lanes, wineries and restaurants of DO Penedès, Barcelona's wonderful wine country. “the Pilgrim Route” is our recommended route for easy wine country discovery. It goes from Vilafranca del Penedès, to Sant Marti Sarroca and Torrelles de Foix 15/20 km. The return to Vilafranca is also on safe quiet back roads and country lanes, flat with some rolling country and short climbs.
